Privacy Policy
Life Management · Last updated: 28 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Life Management ("the app",
"we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the app
you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
-
Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google
we receive your name and email address to create and identify your account.
If you choose Apple's "Hide My Email", we receive a private relay address
instead.
-
Health & fitness data (only with your permission). If
you grant access through Apple Health, the app reads health and fitness
metrics such as body weight, body-fat percentage, VO2 max, sleep, heart
rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, step count, active energy, and
workouts. This is used solely to track progress toward the goals you set
inside the app. Access is requested through the standard iOS Health
permission dialog and you can revoke it at any time in the Apple Health app
(Sharing → Apps). The app never reads Health data without your explicit
consent.
-
Self-entered health & goal data. Any measurements,
goals, weekly plans, and progress notes you type in yourself.
-
Content you create. Tasks, resolutions, decisions/notes,
trading-journal entries, and the financial information you choose to enter
(cash, assets, debts, crypto holdings, income, and expenses).
-
App settings. Sync anchors, notification, and
biometric-lock preferences.
We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, or any
advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other
apps or websites.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the app's core features and sync your data across your devices.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To send the reminders/notifications you enable in Settings.
We use your information only to operate the app's features.
We never sell, rent, or share your personal information, and we do not use it
for advertising or marketing.
3. Your health data (Apple HealthKit)
In line with Apple's requirements for apps that use HealthKit, we want to be
explicit about how your health and fitness data is handled:
- Health data is read only after you grant permission, and only the specific data types you allow.
- Your health data is never used for advertising, marketing, or any use-based data mining.
- We never sell or share your health data with third parties, data brokers, or advertising networks.
-
To let you see your metrics across your own devices, your health data is
synced to your private, authenticated account in Google Cloud Firestore
(see Section 4). This is not Apple iCloud. Apple prohibits
storing HealthKit data in iCloud, and we do not do so — the app stores
it in Firestore, which is a separate cloud database tied to your account and
protected by security rules that restrict access to you alone.
- You can delete all synced health data at any time by deleting your account (Section 6).
4. Where your data is stored
Your account and content — including health metrics, goals, tasks,
decisions, and financial entries — are stored using
Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore). Data
is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections, is tied to your authenticated
account, and access is restricted to you by Firestore security rules. See
Google's privacy policy at
firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
5. Third-party services
To display market prices in the Finance section, the app fetches public,
non-personal data from CoinGecko (crypto prices) and a public
currency exchange-rate API. No personal information is sent to these services.
6. Financial data
Any financial figures and trading-journal notes you enter are for your
personal tracking only. The app is not a financial, investment, or brokerage
service and does not connect to your bank or any trading account. This data
stays in your private account and can be protected with Face ID / Touch ID in
Settings.
7. Deleting your account and data
You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app:
Settings → Delete account. This immediately and
permanently removes your account and all associated data (health metrics,
goals, tasks, resolutions, decisions, and financial information) from our
systems. This action cannot be undone.
8. Children's privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect
information from them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be
reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
